2023 Honda Civic
The 2023 Honda Civic is a versatile sedan that looks like a sports car. It's excellent for commuting or enjoying the open road, and it comes with a variety of luxurious features. Let's dive deeper to find out what makes this vehicle so attractive.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Civic comes with a narrow upper grille with the Honda emblem in the center, a bigger lower grille, and a matching Honda symbol on the tailgate. It also has angular automatic headlights, all-season tires, chrome exhaust, sculpted sides, and a sculpted hood. Sport, EX, and Touring trim levels are available. You can add fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a power moonroof with tilt capabilities, and heated power side mirrors with turn signals. The EX trim level comes with 17-inch wheels, and the Sport and Touring trims have 18-inch wheels. Available colors include Aegean Blue Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Rallye Red, Morning Mist Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Meteorite Gray Metallic, Sonic Gray Pearl, and Platinum White Pearl.
Engine (Power)
The 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine offers 158 horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque. You can also select a 1.5-liter, turbocharged motor that generates 180 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque. Both options have a continuously variable transmission, and the Sport trim also comes with paddle shifters for the steering wheel.
Performance
The 2023 Civic sedan provides impressive performance. It has a sport-tuned independent suspension, normal, sport, and ECON driving modes, and responsive power steering for excellent maneuverability. The 2-liter engine can stop automatically in traffic and then restart when you're ready to move again. That way, you can conserve fuel by preventing idling.
Interior
This car can accommodate up to five people, and it includes a 7-inch touch-screen, Apple CarPlay, speed-sensitive volume control, Android Auto, a 7-inch driver information center, and folding rear seats with vents for the heater and air conditioner. Push-button start, a 12-volt power outlet, voice recognition, and a four-speaker, 160-watt audio system are standard as well. The window controls and door locks for the front seats are illuminated for easy use, and there's an armrest and storage compartment for the front seats. You'll also get storage bins in the doors and cruise, phone, and audio controls on the leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Additional options include a 180-watt, eight-speaker sound system, navigation with traffic updates, a 9-inch touch-screen, wireless charging, and a 10.2-inch driver information screen. You can also choose SiriusXM satellite radio, a 12-speaker Bose audio system with a subwoofer, dual-zone climate control, sport pedals, a HomeLink universal home remote, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and heated front seats.
Safety Features
The 2023 Honda Civic sedan protects you and your passengers with many advanced safety features. You'll get braking assistance, lane keeping assistance, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, forward collision warning, a multi-angle rearview camera, traction control, and stability assistance. The road departure mitigation system can detect a lane change without a turn signal, and it can provide steering assistance to keep you from leaving the road or having a collision with another vehicle.
